Traditional & Mixed Media Art was my first love. I spent many a day and night exploring with colours, tool, and techniques, composition, framing, details, proportions, all the while growing my understanding of the bigger picture, the concept.

Traditional media has an embedded conceptual implication, that it is made straight by the artists hands and potentially filled with the artists own emotions, energy, mistakes, vulnerability, a connection that can never be broken within the original piece. I'd like to think that my essence seeps into all of the work that I make and do, but I think no others compare in that to these mediums.
Digital, Graphic, & Design
I see making Digital, Graphic & Design work as the most collaborative. It can be a collaboration with a client, but also yourself in connection to your own perceived notions of what is widely accepted or what is desired by the world outside of ones self.
My favorite collaboration within these spheres though, is the one with the tools and technology. Because of the ease of "undo" within the digital realm I tend to look for ways to collaborate that bring chance into play. So what may be seen as a mistake from the technological perspective is a beautiful accident to me. Maybe in this way the tools and technology are collaborating with me.
